In 1936 the Schratter brothers organized the export of Brie cheese to the United States by ship Ile de France, leaving a big mark in the history of French cheese. The ship was luxurious and spacious. Up to 100 french chefs worked there. Today, this big French cheese company is called Ile de France, and the ship is depicted on its logo. The company presents selected French delicacies made by French cheesemakers. They are made with the latest technologies and packaging and completely retain their taste and freshness.
