Description

Louis Jadot's Chablis Fourchaume comes from a Premier Cru vineyard in the northern part of Burgundy, halfway between Dijon and Paris. The continental climate and the calcareous marl soils give the wines of Chablis their unique character. Part of the juice ferments in 406 liter oak barrels produced by the Cadus cooperative, while the other part is vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. The average age is 13-15 months of aging on its fine yeasts before bottling.
