Viña Leyda (also known as Leyda Winery) is a well-known Chilean winery, a cool-climate area within the San Antonio Valley. It's just 8-12 km from the Pacific Ocean and about 90 km west of Santiago. Started in the late 1990s, it was the first to plant vines there in 1998, helping turn the region into a spot for high-quality wines. The winery helped create the official Leyda Valley D.O. in 2002 to highlight its special terroir. Today, it's one of Chile's most awarded coastal wineries, especially for its fresh and elegant cool-climate varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
