La Quintinye

The La Quintinye Vermouth Royal brand is named after the botanist Jean Baptiste de La Quintinye, who was the botanist of the court during the reign of King Louis XIV. He was entrusted with the cultivation of the botanical and vegetable gardens of the Palace of Versailles. The bottle is decorated with a portrait of a botanist. There are three varieties of La Quintinye Vermouth: Rouge, Blanc and Extra Dry. The composition of all is based on specially selected herbs: angelica, ginger, cardamom, orange, nutmeg, quinine, etc. La Quintinye Vermouth Blanc is made with a combination of 18 plants and Pineau des Charentes. The aromas are fresh citrus with a fruity taste and rich in hints of forest spices. La Quintinye Vermouth Rouge is made from 28 botanicals that give it a long sweet vanilla scent, while La Quintinye Vermouth Extra Dry contains 27 herbal ingredients that give it an extra dry taste. Pineau des Charentes grape is the basis of this unique drink created in the region of Cognac.
