Laphroaig

Laphroaig was founded in the 1800s by Alexander and Donald Johnston. The Johnston family ran the factory until 1954. And then the inheritance passed to the secretary of the company Bessie Williamson. In an instant, the woman became one of the most powerful figures in the whiskey industry. After a while, she sold the factory to Long John Distillers and retired. Laphroaig is one of the unique brands that uses salted barley and distinguishes itself from its competitors with a very recognizable taste. For many years the company has been considered the official supplier of Buckingham Palace.
