Three Cents

Three Cents company was founded in 2014, when Greek bartenders George Bagos, Dimitris Dafopoulos, and George Tsirikos met with Vassilis Kalantzis, the founder of Granikal import company. They decided to create a new drink. After some research, bartenders became interested in carbonated, bubbly drinks. The name Three Cents is associated with the Great Depression of the late 19th century when the so-called "soda bars" appeared in America. This stage is defined as "soda fountain culture". People bought plain sparkling water for only two cents (Two cents plain). When cherries, vanilla syrup (fruit juice) were added to the mass, the value became three cents. Combining high-quality spring water with only natural ingredients, Three Cents today produces low-sugar, high-grade beverages that can be used as a soft drink or mixed into cocktails and long drinks. In 2016 the Aegean Tonic was nominated for European the Best New Product at the MIXOLOGY BAR AWARDS and was awarded the MASTER MEDAL by the prestigious Spirits Business. In 2016-2017 "Three Cents" was included in the list of “50 Best Bars in the World”. Two years after its inception, the company's range has been exported to more than 20 countries. Since 2016, Three Cents has entered the list of the only best-selling brands of the British magazine "Drinks International", and also received the second place in the list of trendy brands. "Three Cents Aegean Tonic" won the Master Medal from the prestigious Spirits Business. Two years after its inception, the company's range has been exported to more than 20 countries.
