Whiskey Amrut Naarangi

Whiskey is golden amber color. In the aroma of whiskey shades of pudding with bacon and dried figs collide, which complement the tantalizing orange notes of moderate intensity. Over time, the tones of dried fruits develop and show amazing aroma. The taste of whiskey is viscous, rich like syrup, sweet, surprisingly balanced, with lively orange notes. The aftertaste is moderately sweet, even dryish, with bright tones of orange.

It is best to use whiskey as a digestif, with a cup of brewed coffee.

Selected barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas was used to make whiskey. Distillation in small batches helps to preserve the natural aromas. 

Amrut was aged in American oak barrels and in bourbon barrels. Aging took place in unique tropical climates at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level in Bangalore an Indian city-garden.

"Amrut" Naarangi - the world's first and so far the only single malt whiskey with orange flavor. This experimental drink is a novelty in the Amrut line. The word "naarangi" in Hindi means "orange".For the manufacture of this whiskey in Spain, Oloroso sherry casks are used. In them, wine is aged for three years along with orange peel. Oranges for this process are grown in the tourist town of Madikeri, located near the picturesque Western Ghats mountain range in India.
