The founder of the company, Lars G.O. Söderström was a great lover of Caribbean chocolate, which is why he learned the art of making chocolate bars from the world's leading experts. In 2019, Lars combined 2 of his favorite flavors, Caribbean rum and cocoa, to create the perfect spirit. A year later, Lars and his team, after many experiments in his own kitchen, created an excellent drink called Tobago Gold, using the best selection of Caribbean cocoa, spices and rum. The Tobago Gold brand was founded in 2020 in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a Caribbean treasure created to introduce other countries to the culture, flavors and mysteries of the Caribbean. Today, Tobago Gold is based in the Netherlands and presents itself to the world with its great, award-winning liqueurs.
