The history of wine began when Michel Roland first visited Argentina in 1988. He immediately fell in love with the country, the people, the beautiful landscapes, the culture, as well as the fantastic winegrowing potential of the region. After a long search, he and Jean Michel Arcaute, a winegrower from Bordeaux area, found an ideal plot of land about 100 km south of Mendoza. This was the biginning of the production of Clos de los Siete wine under the supervision of Michel Roland.
