Feudi di San Gregorio, Aglianico Dal Re

The wine is red with ruby hues. The soft palate shows excellent balance, with notes of cherry, tobacco and spice. The aroma of the wine combines red fruits, cherry, raspberry leaves.

The wine is excellent with white and red meat dishes, as well as soups, meat pies and pasta.

The wine is made from Aglianico grapes, which are harvested in early October from the Dal Re vineyard, then undergoes maceration and fermentation in steel tanks.

Wine ages for 6 months in French oak barrels after which extra 6 months in bottle.

The vineyards are located in Irpinia, at an altitude of 350 to 700 meters above sea level.
