Nik Weis Urban Riesling

The wine of light yellow color, with a ripe fruit aroma and strong minerality. Spicy in the pallete, with hints of citrus, long-lasting aftertaste.

Can be served as an aperitif or paired with seafood, fish and vegetables. 

Hand-harvested grapes are carefully sorted and gently pressed. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. 

Inspired by the “urban lifestyle“ of many cities like New York, London, Moscow or Paris, winemaker Nik Weis decided to express this approach to life and pleasure through Urban Riesling wine. 

The Weis’s family has been one of the most famoust winemaking families in Moselle. Winery St. Urbans Hof, built in 1947, is named after the patron saint of winemaking - St. Urban. The estate is known for an outstanding collection of vineyards, among them the pearls of the Moselle: Saarfeilser and Okfener Bockstein. Thanks to old vines and the use of new technologies, Nik Weis Rieslings receive the highest marks from critics - for both basic Riesling and Grand Cru (GG) wines.
