E. Guigal Crozes-Hermitage Blanc 2017

Golden yellow colored wine has aromas of white flowers of acacias, pear, melon and citruses. Lots of fat, roundness and richness in the mouth, with remarkable freshness, combining finesse and richness of the terroir.  

Pairs well with white meats, fish and cheese.

Traditional vinifications, control of alcoholic fermentation temperatures around 18°C.

This wine is aged for around 12 months, part of which in oak.

Clayey-loamy and sandy-gravelly soils. Average age of vines is 25 years.

Etienne Guigal founded his winery in 1946, in the old village Ampyui, which is known around the world today. Etienne's son,  Marcel Guigal, began to help his father and work at the winery at a fairly young age, eventually succeeding his older, suddenly blinded father. Marseille invested in the family business not only all his strength, but also his soul. Today, the tradition of the family winemaking is continued by Marseille son Philip Gigal, who holds the position of chief enologist in the company. Guigal owns the oldest vineyards in France, dating back over 2,400 years.
