Tasting Notes

Port wine is ruby with amber hues. The complex aroma is expressed with hints of vanilla, oak and honey. Rich on the palate with notes of dried fruits, spices and a long aftertaste.

Food Pairing

The wine pairs well with desserts, cakes and blue cheeses, excellent as a digestif.

Production Method

Sandeman Porto Tawny 40 Years Old is produced by the traditional Porto Wine method. The hand-picked grapes undergo stalk-removal and crushing before fermentation, under controlled temperature.

Aging Method

The wines are aged in oak wood casks.
