100% Islay barley, lemon, honey, tangerine, juniper, cassia, angelica, coriander, cinnamon, orange, toffee

Tasting Notes

Whisky has golden color. Opening with barley sugar, fresh mint and wonderful notes of freshly cut wild flowers. The cleanliness of the spirit is remarkable. Little zephyrs of and sea pinks. With the addition of a little water, caramelised fruits drift onto the scene. lemon drops and honey, tangerine and tablet.

Food Pairing

Perfectly pairs with cheesecakes or chocolate.

Serving

Can be served both as an aperitif and as a digestif.

Production Method

For the production of the whisky, only Scottish barley is used. To ensure maximum quality, a slow distillation method is used.

Aging Method

Aged on the shores of Lochindaal Lake in premium American oak barrels.

Interesting Facts

This single malt scotch whisky has been crafted by master distiller Jim McEwan, who want to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style.

About Producer

Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 on Islay. During its centuries-old history, the company has experienced a series of ups and downs, but in 2001, after Jim McEwan and several investors bought the company, Bruichladdich regained its former strength.
