Whiskey Writers' Tears Double Oak

Whiskey has golden colour with a hint of honey. The bouqouet is full of sweet vanilla, hints of cinnamon, plum and stewed pear. The soft taste reveals notes of citrus peel, chocolate shades and persistent spice. The aftertaste is elegant, decadent.

A classic digestif, whiskey is great on its own, as well as in combination with ice or water.

Writers’ Tears Double Oak is an exclusive Irish whiskey created using two woods and two styles of premium Irish whiskey. A blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskey, aged in two types of wood – American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Kentucky and French Oak Cognac Casks from the Cognac Region in France. It is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This expression is made possible by a close collaboration between the Walsh family in Ireland’s County Carlow and the Legaret family in Cognac, France.

The name of whiskey translates as "Writer's Tears" - a poetic and meaningful name, not devoid of humor. The manufacturer even listed "donors of tears" - the pearl of Irish literature, one of the oldest in the world.
