The wine has magnificent yellow/gold colour with bright reflections. The bouquet is full of tropical fruits and apricots. Rich on the palate with silky texture. The mid-palate is built around a rich core of yellow and white fruits lining the palate and revealing spicy flavours as the finish approaches.

Sauter goes well with duck, foie gras, blue cheeses. Can be combined with fruits and vegetables.

The main feature of the wine is that only grapes covered with noble mold are used in the production. To get such grapes, a late harvest is carried out. clusters are harvested from late September to mid-October.

The vineyards belong to the French wine tycoon Bernard Magre, located in one of the highest parts of the Bordeaux region, hence the name of the chateau - Haut-Peyraguey, which means "high cloak".
