Ruby-colored wine with lilac reflections․ The aroma reveals tones of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, followed by balsamic notes of eucalyptus, thyme, graphite, and light spicy notes of pink pepper. Well balanced on the palate with velvety tannins and harmonious structure. Intense and long aftertaste with a subtle hint of young walnut․

Ideal with meat stews and all types of red meat, as well as semi-hard and hard cheeses.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at strictly controlled temperatures.

The vineyards are situated in the Gaiole hills, in one of the best and first zones of Chianti Classico. Southwest exposure, height above sea level - 500 meters.
