Grant Burge The Holy Trinity GSM 2013

Wine of medium purple color with bright red hues. Delightfully complex on the nose with layers of lifted violet florals, lemon myrtle and hints of ground ginger. Elegant and complex on the palate with a combination of sweet spice, blood plum with light coco powder, raspberry and hints of white chocolate and nutmeg. The tannins are soft, velvety and mouth coating, with a very fine texture. Pleasant, warming finish notes of special, coffee, butchery are revealed.

The wine goes well with meat dishes, including roast duck and venison.

A portion of the wine is fermented in concrete fermenters. 

Wine is aged for 17 months in large oak barrels (2500 liters) and French oak barrels (500 liters) are used, where the wine is kept for about 17 months before bottling.

The Australian wine company Grant Burge was founded by Grant Burge and his wife Helen in 1988, 80 km north of Adelaide, in the heart of the Barossa Valley, famous for its wine-making potential. The assortment of the company is quite extensive: sparkling rosé wines, classic Shiraz, Grenage, fortified wines.
