The wine is perfectly balanced, with crunchy minerality and interesting notes of tropical fruits. 

It goes well with Indian dishes, smoked meat and spicy dishes.

The grapes are grown on the world-famous steep slope of the Moselle, in the vineyard "Goldtröpfchen", which enjoys the greatest reputation in the world among the vineyards of St. Urbans Hof. The age of Riesling vines ranges from 40 to 100 years.

The vineyard's name "Goldtropfchen" ("Golden Drop") indicates the high quality of the precious drops of wine, which is created from its crops.

The Nick Weis’s family has been one of the most famoust winemaking families in Moselle. Winery St. Urbans Hof, built in 1947, is named after the patron saint of winemaking - St. Urban. The estate is known for an outstanding collection of vineyards, among them the pearls of the Moselle: Saarfeilser and Okfener Bockstein. Thanks to old vines and the use of new technologies, Nik Weis Rieslings receive the highest marks from critics - for both basic Riesling and Grand Cru (GG) wines.
