Port wine is golden  with greenish undertones. The aroma is intense, pleasant with notes of cedar, tobacco, ginger and spices. balanced, full-bodied on the palate, with accents of spices, fruits and a long, elegant aftertaste.

The wine pairs well with desserts, cakes and blue cheeses, excellent as a digestif.

Sandeman Porto Tawny 50 Years Old is produced by the traditional Porto Wine method. The hand-picked grapes undergo stalk-removal and crushing before fermentation, under controlled temperature.

The wines are aged in oak wood casks.

Sandeman is a brand of Port and Sherry wines founded in 1790. Its well known logo features a caped man named Don dressed in a Portuguese student's cape and a wide Spanish hat. Besides Port and Sherry wines, it also produces Brandy and Madeira wine.
