With more than 15 years of experience in the wine sector, Diogo has a vast international career, having worked on projects in different countries such as Portugal, the USA, Australia, and France. Today, is in charge of winemaking management for Mateus, Vinho Verde, Dão and Lisbon.

Attractive citrus yellow and slightly golden in colour. Aromatically intense with notes of ripe peach, melon and white flowers, balanced with a touch of vanilla. The palate is well-rounded, with an excellent integration of American oak and a very long, balanced and agreeable finish.

Serve directly from the original bottle. Recommended temperature: 8ºC to 10ºC. Drink within 24 hours of opening.

The name and label of the wine reminds about the Age of Exploration - the most important time in the history of Portugal. "Silk & Spice" wine is a reference to the history of the Silk Road, and the subtle nuances of spices in the taste and bouquet of the wine remind that the Silk Road was previously an important trade route for the transportation of not only silk, but also spices.

The Portuguese wine company Sogrape Vinhos was founded in 1942 by the Guedes family. At the moment, the company annually produces and exports more than 30 million liters of wine, and the export geography covers more than 120 countries of the world. The company has 25 wineries and 19 wineries, with a total vineyard area of 1600 hectares.
