Brandy Tsar Tigran 12 Y.O.

Brandy has a dark amber color. In the aroma, vanilla and eastern sweets are felt, with shades of dried fruit, candied fruit and caramel. Deep, perfectly balanced taste, turning into a pleasant and long aftertaste.

Brandy is excellent as a digestive and perfectly combines with cigars.

Fermentation is carried out only on wild yeast, which are formed on grapes during maturation. Before distillation, the wine material is not filtered or processed. When fermentation ends, the resulting wine material is sent for distillation. At the same time, some of the sludge is left in the wine - it serves as a pledge of the softness of the future cognac. For the production of brandy "Tsar Tigran" only the classical method of distillation in copper cubes of Charente type is used (double fusion according to classical French technology).

Brandy "Tsar Tigran" is aged only in barrels from the Caucasian oak at least 6 years. At the same time, the first one and a half year aging takes place in new barrels, after which it continues in the old ones. The age of the youngest alcohol in the blend is 8 years. The age of the older alcohol is 30 years old.

Brandy "Tsar Tigran" is a prestigious series, which got its name in honor of the legendary king of Ancient Armenia Tigran the Great, an outstanding ruler and conqueror of lands, who lived in the 1st century BC. Brandies "Tsar Tigran" are created only from the best selected spirits and have become a real standard of Armenian cognac.

Great Valley was established in Yerevan in 1998 on Tigran Arzakantsyan’s initiative. It received its name in honor of the Ararat Valley – the “granary” of Armenia, where according to the biblical legend patriarch Noah planted the first grapevine, from the amber berries of which he made the oldest wine.
