Whisky Tomatin Legacy

The whisky is light golden color with a yellowish hints. In the bouquet, vanilla, marshmallow and biscuit tones are complemented by hints of fresh pineapples, citrus fruits and candies. Light and delicate on the palate, with notes of sweets, lemon sherbet, pineapple, crispy green apples and biscuit. The aftertaste is clean, light and refreshing.

Recommended to serve as a digestif with a few drops of water or ice.

Aged for 8 years in a combination of Bourbon barrels and American casks.

Jim Murray, in his famous "Whisky Bible", scoring the bevarage at 94.5/100 points, wrote about Tomatin Legacy: "Each sip of the bevarage is endowed with rare appetizing qualities ... you want to choke with pleasure." Also, the whisky was awarded a gold medal in 2014 at the "San Francisco World Spirits Competition" and a silver medal in 2013 at the "International Wine & Spirits Competition".

Built in 1897, Tomatin distillery is one of the top 10 distilleries in Scotland. The company's production is located at an altitude of 315 meters above sea level. The product line consists of 12, 18, 25, 30 and 40 year old whiskys and some numbered vintages. Tomatin is one of the few distilleries in Scotland that have retained their cooperage.
