Satin smooth, it glides across the palate. The viscosity of the liquid is exceptional. Immediately, a bouquet of herbal freshness, juniper and sweet citrus come to the fore on the nose. The scent of Islay botanicals gently rises, winding their wild aromas of mint, thyme, sweet gale, gorse, camomile – a green freshness – through the heart of The Botanist.  The balanced and complex taste is distinctive, with sweet and earthy notes combining with delicate floral and herbal notes of the Islay 22. Relaxed and balanced aftertaste with feeling of water mint, hawthorn, wood sage, sweet cicely, cinnamon, citrus, soft juniper – a harmonious combination held together with a gentle, satin-soft texture.

Before serving, the gin must be kept in the freezer for several hours.

The burning taste of the drink requires a mandatory snack. Perfect for cheeses, fruits, cold and hot appetizers. Can be used as an aperitif.

The Botanist is distilled with 22 unique plant components collected on Islay Island: apple mint, thyme, heather, tansy, birch leaves and others. They give gin its delicate aroma and unique character, combining with 9 classic ingredients, in particular with coriander, juniper berries, zest, licorice. Macerated concentrate is subjected to long-term distillation under low pressure. Sometimes a large number of ingredients interfere with each other, but in this case, they make up a wonderful, unique, well-balanced bouquet.
