Feudi di San Gregorio, Aglianico Dal Re 2018

The wine has abright ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of black cherry and raspberry combined with hints of licorice and sweet spices. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with velvety tannins that accompany a pleasantly persistent and aromatic finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, well paired with white, red meat, soups and pasta.

Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in steel tanks for about 2-3 weeks.

Wine ages for 6 months in French oak barrels after which extra 6 months in bottle.

The vineyards are located in Irpinia, at an altitude of 350 to 700 meters above sea level.

Wine made from Aglianico grapes, harvested in early October in the vineyard "Dal Re".
