Ruby red wine with aroma of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry liqueur, ground pepper and spices. Medium bodied, juicy and well built on the palate, with silky tannins and spicy notes in the finish.

Pairs well with medium-aged cheeses and meat snacks, especially veal, game birds.

Night grape harvest. Each variety is vinified separately, fermented for 2 weeks in neutral tanks at controlled temperatures.

Aging for 6 months in American and French oak barrels.

The wine repeats the Bordeaux assemblage of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when to the wines from the badly matured Cabernet Sauvignon in Medoc more southern, well-matured Sirah was added. These wines were often called "Hermitaged" wines. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Sirah are used in the blend.

Located at an altitude of 100-400 m above sea level in the western part of the Mediterranean coast in the vicinity of Minervois, near the border of Spain. Cabernet is planted on slopes with alluvial soils, on terraced areas with clay and limestone. Average age of vines: 20 years.
