Wine of golden color with a greenish tint, enchants with a balanced taste with fruit and mineral notes, piquant sourness and a clean aftertaste. 

This wine is perfect with terrines, fish in sauce, smoked or raw, white meats, veal sweetbreads, mushrooms, well-seasoned and aromatic dishes, Asian cuisine.

Manual late harvest. Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 3-4 weeks. 

Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile is not produced every year. Wine production depends on the harvest of the given year. The name of the wine is associated with one of the great ancestors of the family - Frederic Emil Trimbach. Riesling, created by him at the end of the 19th century, received a medal at the World Exhibition in Paris.

The average age of the vines, 45 years, results in limited yields. The marl-limestone-sandstone and fossil-flecked Muschelkalk composition of the terroir, as well as the beautifully ripe grapes selected and harvested at the end of October lend this wine a remarkable personality. 

Trimbach is one of the oldest and most glorious wine houses in France. This symbol of the Alsace region was founded in 1626 and is now headed by members of the 12th and 13th generation of the Trimbach family. Read more
