Rum is caramel-golden color. The complex aroma reveals the hints of coconut, caramel and vanilla. The harmonious taste with the combination of chocolate, honey and almond oil tones turns into a long and pleasant aftertaste․

Can be used neat as a digestif. Pairs well with a cigar.

In 1939, the major fire of Trinidad and Tobago destroyed government stocks of rum. The master blender and owner of the Fernandez distillery: J. Fernandez, having bought charred barrels, was surprised finding there perfectly ripe rum. Based on this rum, Fernandez created a unique blend, naming it 1919 Super Premium Rum (in 1919 rum was poured into barrels).

The House of Angostura company was founded in 1824 in the city of Laventil by entrepreneur Johann Siegert, who was only engaged in the production of bitters at that time. The production of rum itself began only in 1947 and since then it has been considered one of the best in the beverage market. To date, The House of Angostura produces about 65,000 liters of alcohol, most of which is Angostura rum, and annually delivers about 600,000 boxes of its products to the US, UK and European countries․
