The aroma of amber whisky is expressed with hints of stewed stone fruits, red berries, oak and white chocolate. In rich taste, the notes of lemon and citrus are combined with spicy and floral shades. The aftertaste is long lasting, with nuances of oak and red fruits.

Whisky can be drunk neat or with ice.

In recipe the purest water is used from rivers that originate high in the mountains, where eternal snow lies.

The spirits are first aged in bourbon and sherry casks, then the final aging takes place in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, considered one of Japan's most expensive and rarest wood.

The name Shinobu means "patience" in Japanese. Whisky Shinobu Blended Malt is inspired by the spirit, patience and perseverance of the Japanese samurai.

Niigata Beer is a small company in the Japanese city of Niigata, a major port center and capital of Chubu Prefecture of the same name on the island of Honshu. Niigata is famous for its "white" treasures: snow, rice and sake. It was here that, in 1997, entrepreneur Ken Usami decided to open a brewery known for its second fermentation method in the brewing process. In 2017, Usami received the license to produce whisky, which he had been dreaming a lot. For his offspring, the master chose the name Shinobu, which means “patience” in Japanese. The best distillates are carefully selected to create whisky, which is then aged in bourbon and sherry oak casks, as well as in valuable Japanese oak Mizunara casks, developing a deep, harmonious flavor and aroma.
