Living in Argentina since 1800, Zuccardi family has always been actively involved in soil improvement. So, Don Alberto Zuccardi bought the land in 1963 to start his own wine production and show everyone that Argentina's dry soils can become surprisingly soft to produce aromatic wines. Currently, Zuccardi family owns 170 hectares of vineyards. The head of the company: José Alberto Zuccardi, continues his father's work with great responsibility, experimenting with many varieties of grapes, including unusual and rare ones. According to José Alberto, a good vineyard is the key to the wine's future success. In the late 1990s, Zuccardi began using organic methods in production, eliminating the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides. Wines are made without preservatives, dyes and additives. Under the careful supervision of winemaker Rodolphe, Zuccardi wines become more and more distinct in style year after year, acquiring their characteristic extraordinary finesse and structure.
