Medium-deep garnet colour. Very pleasant on the nose, it displays aromas of ripe and stewed fruit and of nuts too, most conspicuously Brazil nuts, with notes of herbs – rosemary – coming through afterwards along with touches of sweetness. On the palate, flavours reminiscent of ripe fruit are immediately identifiable, along with light touches of sweetness, tobacco and notes of cacao. The wine is balanced, with a distinct freshness, good acidity, pleasant tannins and great length.

An ideal accompaniment for charcoal-grilled meat, roasts, game dishes and mature cheese.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature kept between 26-28ºC.

Wine was left for 12 months in barrels made of American oak staves and French oak ends to create the unmistakable “Beronia style”.
