Frescobaldi Nipozzano Montesodi 2017

The wine has a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bright mineral aroma is complemented by hints of herbs, fragrant violets, and ginger. The rich aroma has hints of almond and plum.

It pairs especially well with fried or grilled lamb, game, and beef. It can also accompany meat dishes, especially Florentine steak.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature up to 35°C.

18 months in oak and 6 months in the bottle․

Montesodi wine has been produced since 1974. The grapes for this wine are harvested from a vineyard that the Frescobaldi family has owned since the 1700s.

The vineyards of Castello di Nipozzano are located at an altitude of 250 to 500 meters above sea level and occupy 250 hectares of south-eastern exposition. The soils are dry, stony, clay-limestone, well-drained.

The Frescobaldi family is one of the oldest and most prestigious winemaking nobles in Italy. The Frescobaldi is originally come from Florence and are currently based in Italy’s №1 winemaking region: Tuscany. Here they own 7 estates, which allows to fully explore all the Tuscany terroirs.
