From Italian language, the name of Donnafugata is translated as " fleeing woman". There is a legend about the escape of Queen Maria Carolina, who fled from Naples and found her refuge in a town in the very center of Santa Margherita Belice valley: the same palace under the starry sky. A woman's hair swaying in the wind can also be seen on product labels.Donnafugata was established in Sicily by a family that, thanks to its passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine throughout the world. Giacomo Rallo, the fourth generation of a family with over 170 years of experience in quality wine, founded Donnafugata in 1983 together with his wife Gabriella, a pioneer of viticulture in Sicily. Today, their children José and Antonio lead the company and a team of people focused on excellence.
A gift box dedicated to the Vittoria area. An area of south-western Sicily highly suited to the production of soft red wines with a floral soul. Unusual wines to try even chilled so as to appreciate all their pleasantness. The wooden and plexiglass gift box contains 2 bottles of 0.75 L (Bell’Assai 2021, Floramundi 2020).
