Wine of citrine yellow colour. Expressive aroma, with notes of ripe tropical fruit such as pineapple and passion fruit. Intense notes of yellow-fleshed fruit. Balanced in the mouth, with a voluminous texture counter-balanced by firm and integrated acidity. Aromatic and persistent finish

The intense aroma makes this wine an excellent accompaniment to pasta dishes with intense flavours such as pesto. Very good pairing with fish dishes and puff pastry.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at a temperature of 16-18ºC.

Of all the birds known in the Douro region, the Oriole (Portuguese for "papa-figos") is one of the rarest and most special.
