The complex, sweet aroma of the dark golden whisky is expressed with hints of honey and malt. Harmonious on the palate with notes of burnt sugarcane, sweet peat, orange marmalade, cedar, cigar and a rich, full-bodied aftertaste.

Whisky can be drunk neat, with ice or used as an ingredient in cocktails.

IWAI TRADITION is a malt based spirit that is a true reflection of modern Japanese whisky. A blend of sherry, bourbon and wine casks creates a harmonious, balanced, smooth and multi-layered whiskey with delicate hints of peat.

Aged in bourbon, sherry, American white oak and Mizunara barrels.

Mars Shinshu Distillery is located in the picturesque areas of the Japanese Alps at an altitude of 798 meters above sea level. It is a cool and foggy place where temperatures often drop to 0°C. The distillery, founded by the Hombo family, is the highest in Japan. The owners of the enterprise have been distilling for more than a century, but whiskey did not appear in their palette immediately in 1949. Japanese whiskey is the youngest in its category.
