The wine is golden with straw hues. In refreshing and bright aroma the hints of peach, lemon, grapefruit, nutmeg and herbs are noticeable. It has a light taste with beautiful mineral-floral notes.

It can be served as an aperitif or paired with Asian food, especially sushi, sashimi, fish dishes and seafood.

Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks with at approx. 18°C.

Pfefferer is named after Pfefferer grape, a particular variety of the Muscat grape that in Alto-Adige dialect has been always called Pfefferer (trans. as "spicy").

The total area of vineyards is 315 hectares. They are located at an altitude of 400-450 m above sea level. Soil is gravely sandy.

Colterenzio is the flagship of the South Tyrol winery, founded in 1960 and today has 290 members․ In the 1980s the director Luis Reifer brought new ideas to Italian wine revolution.
