Rum Zacapa Centenario XO

The aroma of golden red rum is expressed with notes of burnt oak, caramel, roasted walnuts, marzipan and orange peel. In soft and sweet taste the nuances of chocolate, dried fruits, spices, ginger and mango are noticeable.

Pairs well with dark chocolate and desserts.

Rum can be drunk neat, with ice or used as an ingredient in cocktails.

This luxury Guatemalan premium rum is made from a blend of rums aged between 6 and 25 years old.

Aged in bourbon and sherry casks.

Zacapa rum was created in 1976 to commemorate the 100th anniversary celebration of the foundation of the city of Zacapa. Zacapa is a town in Guatemala located approximately 112km from Guatemala City. The name Zacapa derives from Nahuatl (Aztec) language, and it means “on the river of grass”. Early Zacapa bottles came in a bottle covered in a petate– a handwoven matting made from palm leaves which dates from the Mayan period made in Esquipulas, by skilled artisans. More recently they feature a band around the middle of the bottle.
