Wine is straw with yellowish hues. In fresh aroma the fruity notes such as peach and lime are combined with hints of wild flowers. Fruity nuances are noticeable on the palate, with pleasant acidity and a persistent aftertaste.

Perfectly pairs with tomato and basil bruschetta, seafood pasta, blue cheese. Try also with cesar salad.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, at temperature of 14-16°C.

Aged for some time in steel tanks, followed by several months of aging in bottles.

The label depicts the face of a woman, mysterious and fleeting like the Elymian civilization. Anthilìa is the name given to the city of Entella on the top of the Rocca in Roman times. Today, Anthìlia is the name of a win that is identified with the ancient territory where it has its roots. It is the first wine created in Donnafugata and has already become a favorite one of many.

From Italian language, the name of Donnafugata is translated as " fleeing woman". There is a legend about the escape of Queen Maria Carolina, who fled from Naples and found her refuge in a town in the very center of Santa Margherita Belice valley: the same palace under the starry sky. A woman's hair swaying in the wind can also be seen on product labels.Donnafugata was established in Sicily by a family that, thanks to its passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine throughout the world. Giacomo Rallo, the fourth generation of a family with over 170 years of experience in quality wine, founded Donnafugata in 1983 together with his wife Gabriella, a pioneer of viticulture in Sicily. Today, their children José and Antonio lead the company and a team of people focused on excellence.
