In rich aroma of bright pink wine the fruity notes of wild strawberry and pomegranate are combined with delicate floral nuances of violet. Fresh, pleasant on the palate, with excellent texture and fruity hints.

Pairs well with hot, cold or raw seafood and vegetables. Also recommended with fried fish and fresh cheeses.

Cold maceration for 12-24 hours at 10°C followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature.

Aging in tanks for 2 months and then at least 3 months in bottle before release.

From Italian language, the name of Donnafugata is translated as " fleeing woman". There is a legend about the escape of Queen Maria Carolina, who fled from Naples and found her refuge in a town in the very center of Santa Margherita Belice valley: the same palace under the starry sky. A woman's hair swaying in the wind can also be seen on product labels.Donnafugata was established in Sicily by a family that, thanks to its passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine throughout the world.
