Intense aroma of rich, bright ruby wine with notes of almond, violet, and floral accents, which enliven the elegant bouquet of fruits. The wine has a dry, delicate, well-structured taste. It is dominated by berries, ripe fruits, spicy nuances, delicate floral notes, which are summed up with a persistent finish.

The wine is a good addition to red meat, game, cheese and pasta.

Vinification is carried out in stainlees steel tanks․

The wine ages in oak barrels․ 

The Feudo Principi di Butera vineyards occupy privileged lands in the province of Caltanissetta, on hills that receive southern warmth from the hot sun and strong breezes from the nearby sea. These conditions allow to grow beautiful grapes and create great wines with great potential. Vineyards occupy 320 hectares of land, of which 180 hectares are under young vines.

Feudo Principi di Butera is a tenuta with an ancient history that once belonged to the aristocratic dynasties of Branciforte and Lanza di Scalea. Ambrogio Branciforte was the first Sicilian governor appointed in 1543. King Philip II of Spain bestowed upon him the title of Prince of Butera. In 1895, the title and lands passed to Girolamo Lanza.
