Drappier Quattuor Bio Extra Brut

Aromas of very fresh grapes and citrus fruits evolving towards notes of honeyed apples and fig jam, borne by a bouquet of white flowers. On the palate, a Champagne with great freshness, mineral and chiselled, and a very persistent finish.

Ideal as an aperitif. Perfect with spring vegetable tart, seafood blanquette, veal carpaccio with white truffles.

The wine is crafted from Jurassic Kimmeridgian limestone, following a sustainable and organic ethos. It is extracted using mechanical low-pressure presses, with only the first press being used. The process employs gravity, natural settling, and malolactic fermentation. The wine contains very low sulphites and matures for 36 months on the lees.

The Champagne Drappier House has been making authentic wines for two centuries, known for their intense Pinot Noir aromas. General De Gaulle’s Champagne supplier, the Drappier House has always produced wines marked by freshness and fine effervescence. The family House is also known for its great vintage cuvée, the Grande Sendrée, which surprises with its refinement and aromatic complexity.

The Quattuor is the incarnation of originality and know-how which the Drappier family has honed since 1808. Producted from an assemblage of white grape varieties of Champagne, this Blanc de Blancs allies the identity of its roots with the impertinence of modern winemaking.
