The pleasent aroma of light yellow wine is rich with fruity notes of lemon peel, lime and plum combined with subtle spices. Balanced, round and juicy on the palate with slight acidity and moderate sweetness. The aftertaste is intensive and longlasting with floral, herbal and mineral hints.

Pairs well with Eastern/Asian cuisine, foie gras, blue cheeses.

The grapes are grown on the world-famous steep slope of the Moselle, in the vineyard "Goldtröpfchen", which enjoys the greatest reputation in the world among the vineyards of St. Urbans Hof. The age of Riesling vines ranges from 40 to 100 years.

The vineyard's name "Goldtropfchen" ("Golden Drop") indicates the high quality of the precious drops of wine, which is created from its crops.

The Nick Weis’s family has been one of the most famoust winemaking families in Moselle. Winery St. Urbans Hof, built in 1947, is named after the patron saint of winemaking - St. Urban. The estate is known for an outstanding collection of vineyards, among them the pearls of the Moselle: Saarfeilser and Okfener Bockstein.
