Qirs Rose

The aroma of rose wine is expressed with notes of wild strawberries and raspberries combined with nuances of meadow flowers. Fresh and harmonious on the palat ewith elegant acidity.

Recommended to serve with salads, fruits and dessert.

Manual harvesting and careful sorting of grapes. Slow separation of juice, gentle pressing and further fermentation in oak barrels of Artsakh under the controlled temperature. 

The vineyards are in Khramort of Askeran region, located at an altitude of 450 m above sea level. 

Mets Qirs is one of the highest peaks of the southern branch of Artsakh with 2724.6 m high. By the way, the mountain is like a fist and is called Artsakh fist. This is where the wine's name came from.

Karat Winery is a fairly young but already known winery from Armenia. The production facilities of the plant are located in Syunik region, and the main vineyards are in an ecologically clean area near the village of Khramort. The company favors indigenous grape varieties such as white Voskehat, red Areni and Khndoghni (Sireni) and traditional production methods with minimal human intervention in the natural process.
